Non-Judgment
Among other things, Coaching is about who you are, right here, right now, as well as what ever you need to move from this place in your life to where ever forward is for you. In our working together, you may choose to reveal a more vulnerable side of who you are. I will always honor that. I assure you that I will treat your choices and actions (past, present, and future) with respect, dignity, and compassion.
Intention
I genuinely believe in you. You are an amazing person, capable of wondrous contributions to the world, and worthy of even more.
The Coaching relationship can be many things: joyous, challenging, stretching, clarifying, staggering, renewing, and so on.
My agenda: Supporting you. Challenging you. Celebrating you.
I will take our coaching relationship very seriously. If I honestly believe that the coaching relationship is not working for either of us, I will bring this fact to the table. If it is appropriate to terminate the relationship, I will do so. I expect the same of you.
Honesty
I will give honest feedback, ask challenging questions, give assignments designed to challenge your comfort, hold you accountable to your commitments, and every once in a while give you a gentle, always caring kick in the behind.
Confidentiality
All of our interactions will remain strictly confidential, within the boundaries of the law and the coaching profession. Period.
Preparedness
Please come to every coaching session with a prepared agenda which you have emailed in beforehand. This is to help make the most effective use of everyone's time. (Click here for the Session Prep.)
Availability
You are encouraged to stay in touch via email between sessions, as needed. Coaching sessions are Monday through Thursday, the first three weeks of the month, except when on holiday, hosting seminars, etc. Fridays and the fourth week of the month are dedicated to other projects; please honor that time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give me as much advance warning as possible; I will give you the same courtesy.
Code of Ethics
I am a member of the International Coach Federation and I have signed an agreement to abide by the ICF Code of Ethics.
Non-Payment
Fees are due by the 5th of every month. One month of non-payment or three months of late payments will automatically result in a permanent termination of the Coaching relationship.
